Radiant Shipyard Limited (RSL), a rapidly growing ship design and shipbuilding powerhouse in the country, is charting another remarkable achievement. The keel-laying ceremony for the container vessel took place at the premises of Radiant Shipyard, situated along the banks of the Shitalakhya River in Rupganj, Narayanganj. The event marked a significant step forward in the shipyard’s impressive journey.

The upcoming container vessel, boasting a carrying capacity of 182 TEUs, will play a pivotal role in transporting containers across the country. With an expected delivery within a lead time of 15 months by December 2015, RSL is gearing up to make history once again. The vessel will span 83 meters in length and achieve a speed of 10 knots, with its design and specifications aligning with industry standards.
At the keel-laying ceremony, esteemed figures including Mahabubul Haqque Chisty, Chairman of Farmers’ Bank Ltd, M.U.K. Yameen, Director of Bay Pacific Carriers Ltd, and Zaker Ahmed, Chairman of RSI, were in attendance. The ceremony was a testament to the collaborative spirit and commitment to advancement shared by all stakeholders.
