Radiant Shipyard Limited Honored to Secure the Contract for BRWTP-W5A Project
Radiant Shipyard Limited is proud to announce that, in partnership with Western Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., we have been awarded the prestigious contract for the following work:
- Project Title: Bangladesh Regional Waterway Transport Project 1 (BRWTP 1)

The contract signing ceremony took place on 3rd December 2024 at the Office of the Project Director of BRWTP 1. The partnership between Radiant Shipyard Limited and Western Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. signifies a commitment to excellence, quality, and timely delivery of this ambitious project.
This significant initiative, commissioned by the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), is set to revolutionize waterway transportation infrastructure by upgrading and constructing landing stations (launch ghats) and essential facilities across four vital locations:
- Alubazar
- Bhairab
- Hijla
- Laharhat.
We are deeply honored by the trust placed in us for this critical national project. The work involved is substantial and diverse, reflecting the scale and importance of the initiative. The scope includes:
- Civil Works: Construction of robust and sustainable infrastructure for landing stations.
- Electrical Works: Installation of modern electrical systems to support operational efficiency.
- Bank Protection Works: Implementation of measures to prevent erosion and ensure long-term stability of the riverbanks.
- Dredging Works: Strategic dredging to maintain navigability and ensure smooth operations of the landing stations.
- Marine Works: Construction of high-quality pontoons to facilitate safe and efficient embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and cargo.
We view this project as a testament to our capabilities and a significant step forward in advancing Bangladesh’s inland waterway infrastructure.
